What is counselling?
Counselling is a client-led, collaborative journey. You set the pace, you choose what to bring and what feels important. There is no expectation to have it all figured out.

Progress isn't about immediate improvement.
Growth and change in counselling often comes at a subtle, gradual pace. Pausing, reflecting and understanding your journey is essential.

You don't need the 'right' words.
Counselling often begins with struggling to explain what you are thinking and how you feel. That's okay, counselling is about finding ways to express these thoughts and emotions safely.

'I don't need help.'
Being strong and self reliant can be a strength. But for some holding this energy constantly can become exhausting. Counselling isn't a weakness, there is no shame in seeking support when your mind needs a break

Counselling isn't about giving advice.
Rather than telling you what to do, counselling promotes, self-reflection & gentle guidance. Allowing you to notice patterns and make sense of your own experiences.

We don't need to revisit everything.
You don't have to explore every part of your past to find counselling beneficial. Sessions are tailored to your needs and goals. Whether this is short -term or more open-ended.
